Delosperma cooperi was discovered by and named for the 19th century British botanist Thomas Cooper who famously explored and trekked through Zulu Territory in southern Africa.

This classic Ice Plant sets the standard for tough, beautiful and drought tolerant ground covers. Slender succulent foliage supports masses of stunning purple flowers from spring through summer. Tolerant of both salt and drought this plant has proven itself and deserves a spot in your garden. Height 3-6", Zones 6-10.
